Bath, teeth etc at 6:30
Story on mummy and daddy's bed then into bed for 2.6 DD by 7:15 latest.
9mo DS then BF until he's asleep in his room. He's in bed by 8:00 at the latest. Hopefully when he's 1, we will be looking to get him in bed at the same time as DD, and without the boobs!

kaffkooks · 21/11/2014 21:49

DS 2 years old. Bath at 6.45pm, run around and dance in the nude after bath (him, not me!) stories then bed by 7.30pm. He often lies and sings/talks to himself for a while depending on how tired he is.

Make the most of it, you lot. Wait until they're teenagers and stay up all evening in the living room with you

Between 8.30-9.30. He is up at 7.30 every morning without fail. He has a nap at pre-school.
He's 3.

I thought 'in bed by 7pm' was a myth invented by Peppa Pig!

ClawHandsIfYouBelieveInFreaks · 21/11/2014 21:54

Mine are 10 and 6. If it's a week day they have lights out at 8...both of them.

On the weekend it's more like 9 or 9.30 if I'm lax.

soundedbetterinmyhead · 21/11/2014 22:02

8pm (increased from 7.30pm when they were about 8). They are now 13 and 11. However, the alarm goes off at 5.30am on a weekday and they are out the door at 7am to get trains to school. I'm in bed by 10pm, so it probably hasn't occurred to them (yet) that this is a very early bedtime.

FullOfChoc · 21/11/2014 22:05

7 yo 7 pm

9 yo 8.30 pm

half an hour later if its not a school night (and they've been good).

GoogleyEyes · 21/11/2014 22:39

3yo - upstairs 6.00, bathed and in bed with story by about 6.40. Sometimes plays a bit before sleeping.

6yo - upstairs 6.00, sorts out shower, teeth etc then cuddles and story about 7.00, reads until lights out at 8.00.

Both up most mornings at 7.30.

puddymuddles · 21/11/2014 22:42

DD1 (3 and a half) and DD2 (nearly 2) both go to bed between 8 and 9pm depending on how organised I am and how difficult they are to settle. This is quite late as most of my friends with DC similar age get them to bed earlier than that.

DS nearly 3, DD 4 months. Eat around 6:30, I take DD up to feed and settle around 7, can take up to an hour, DS up for bath 7:30, in bed for stories with DH around 8, DH usually back downstairs by 9 but half the time that's because he falls asleep with DS. DS in our bed at some point after midnight and then up for the day around 6am. He still naps for up to 2 hrs a day though.

Start the whole bath/pyjamas/teeth/books etc at around 18:15 and aim to have 2yo in bed at 18:45 and 3.5 yo in bed by 19:00. They fall asleep anywhere from instantly to around 19:30.

siblingrevelryagain · 22/11/2014 15:54

All three of mine are still bathed and in bed by 7. We've just stuck to the same routine since they were babies, and whilst they still need this amount of sleep we'll carry on. They're 7, 6 & 3.

For two nights of the week, however, the older two don't go to bed until 8 as they are at beavers/football. And I relax it slightly at weekends (although not too much).

Even going to bed at this time they don't wake until 6.30/ 7, so the timings suit our family.

Enjoyingmycoffee1981 · 22/11/2014 16:39

4 and 1.5.... In bed and almost instantly alt asleep 6.45/7. Through to 6.45/7. The youngest still naps for two hours and the eldest naps occasionally.
Bloody awesome. Dh and I saying recently we can't relate to the stories about lack of sleep when a parent because we just have not really experienced it.

MegBusset · 22/11/2014 16:41

DSes 5 and 7. In bed around 7.30 and usually asleep by 8.

MissHJ · 22/11/2014 16:55

Ds 14 months generally between 7-7:30, making allowances if he is ill or we have been out late. Yesterday we stayed at my grandmothers so he did not go to bed until 9 oops!

AdorableAbbie · 22/11/2014 19:40

When she was still a kid our routine is..
at 7:00 bath time
7:30 - 8:00 is sleeping time.
