Well I'm damned - I never knew this Blush

ChippingInAutumnLover · 19/11/2014 20:30

I love how this is posted periodically as 'new news' Grin

I don't know how we get the word out though? Maybe print it on the vests??

SuchSweetSorrow · 19/11/2014 20:31

I know- I read this on here when mine had stopped having explosive nappies and I was so disappointed I hadn't known it previously!

Isn't it obvious?

HaroldLloyd · 19/11/2014 20:31

Yes I remember reading about this when DS was about a year old.

Thinking NOW you tell me. Grin

I think most MNers know this. It comes up a lot!

What Chipping said Grin
My mum showed me this when my youngest brother was born, many years ago... Makes sense the same way you can put a dress on from above or below, surely?

PiperIsTerrysChoclateOrange · 20/11/2014 06:26

I always thought it was to give extra room to pull over the head

Wow ! No, it isn't obvious ! Thank you - this could have saved me on many an occasion ...... !

TheGirlAtTheRockShow · 20/11/2014 12:00

I saw this on MN while pregnant. It's how I always take DD's vest off. She hates stuff going over her head!

frankiebuns · 20/11/2014 14:51

My brother showed me this I then tried it with dd and it works she's all for a explosive nappy for me to clean up. I even asked mum if she knew why the vests were like this and she was clueless! She's in her 60's and just assumed it was for ease of heads
