4 year old dd hyperactive 48 hours after op. Is this normal?

My dd had an op to remove a cyst on her throat 48 hours ago. She's now home but is totally hyperactive. She cannot sit still, can't stop talking, is a bit clumsy and over enthusiastic/excitable about everything. Just trying to keep her entertained has been totally exhausting today. Is this normal behaviour following an op? Anyone been through something similar?

No idea.my ds was hyperactive an hour after he'd woken from anaesthetic to have grommets put in. He crashed and burned after bouncing off the walls and running about his room for an hour.
Maybe she's feeling more energetic as the anaesthetic wears off? Sorry not much help I'm afraid.
