Essay writing.....?

Hiya,
I know how to write essays, assignments etc, but how and what is meant to go into the essay plan?

Lots of questions tonight, you can tell I have been to college!

i think it what you hope to ask and the structure of how you hope to answer that question by introducing the topic and where the idea came from, through the main body of research and evidence, and then discussing your findings in the conclusion and formulating implications and suggestions for future practice where possible or appropriate. iyswim? hth (this is my take on it from uhw lecturers and it got me through diploma and parts of my degree course too!)

Thats what I thought it was, but another student found it really hard, so I started to question myself!

Blackwell do a cool little booklet for £1 called 'how to write essays' it gives little tips and i've found it really useful going back to essay writing after 16 years! my mind is abuzzing 2 but v nervous bout doing crap essays
