Is there a French equivalent of Radio 4?

I'm trying to listen to French radio every day to improve my French, but so far the only radio stations I've found are music ones, with not much chat in between music tracks. It's probably too much to hope for, but is there an intelligent talk station, where they have discussions on current affairs?

The BBC World Service certainly used to run a French language station, current affairs etc . I know because a friend was a 'dj' on it, but was made redundant, so I'm not sure if it's still going....worth a search though.
