My dd is 19 weeks and was born on 20th of June so when she hits 20 weeks will she be 5 months or not until the 20th of Novemeber? I'm confused hv etc talk in weeks but just curious with regards to weaning if I count weeks 6 months is 24 weeks but 6 months is really 26 weeks it's driving me mad!

6 months = 26 weeks

And otherwise, count in weeks until then.

The trick is:

1 month = 4.33 weeks.

As 52 weeks in a year divided by 12 months equals 4.33 weeks per month (on average).

As long as you are not still saying "my baby is 52 weeks" when she is 1 !

She's not 5 months until she gets to the same date number as she was born in the month. This is because there are 4.33 weeks in a month. I think I said weeks till around 20 weeks then swapped to talking about months.
