Order of teeth

I just wondered if anyone else's baby got their teeth in an unusual order? My 7.5 month old has only one bottom central incisor and both top lateral incisors but no top central incisors....

Am wondering about taking him to the dentist but not sure whether they would see such a young baby - would they just send me back to the GP?

Both mine have had their teeth out of order. DS had the two bottom ones followed by the upper side ones - he effectively had fangs for a while Grin and both have cut molars whilst still having gaps at the front. I don't think it's a cause for concern but I'm no expert.

Thanks :) These have only appeared in the last week or two so he's only just started, but all his little friends at baby group have started with both the two bottom ones at more or less the same time.

Mine had teeth in the wrong order and extremely late (2years old)
The first tooth that cut was a top molar then another molar then two top front teeth no more for 6months and then all the rest at the same time lol

Oh yes - all four molars at the same time here too with both mine! It's been...fun?!! Hmm

My 8 mo is doing this too - she's got 4 bottom teeth and no top ones. Very different from her elder sister who did the standard two bottom then two top. Quite heartened to see we're not alone!

You are encouraged to take kids to the dentist as soon as any teeth are through. If you're due an appt I'd check about one for baby too.

Thanks :) I did pop in to register him and asked if they had any information (leaflets or similar) about brushing his teeth and they said no, so I'm not sure how proactive they are about children... I will phone up and ask about appointments though as I have been meaning to go before the free dental treatment runs out for me!
