My 3rd baby is 5 months old and so much harder that my first 2. She will only sleep for about 20 minutes at a time and she fights me all the way as she won't self soothe and has to be rocked. She crys when ever I put her down to do anything untill she goes red.At night she will wake 5 to 6 time for what seems no reason as she very often doesnt want her milk. I have to rock her back to sleep or put her In with me which I dont like doings but im so tired I need to sleep. My first 2 were very good at sleeping and at this age would be happy in there chair or on a playmat. Would love to know if this is normal and when it will get better.

My DS (now 21 months) was like this. For him, it turned out to be dairy intollerance / silent reflux. So sorry you're going through this, it's awful, isn't it? Especially when others seem so have wonderfully happy sleeping babies.

Have you spoken to your HV / GP to rule out reflux?
