Hi,
What's your routine for bath and bed and also the nursery run for two children.

Hi, I'm 6mths on from having a newborn now but I've basically kept all our routines from before DS2 was born. DH is there to help normally in the evenings so puts DS1 to bed whilst I see to DS2, but if not then DS2 is fed whilst reading a story etc to DS1 which keeps him quiet then I get DS2 to sleep and crash out myself Smile. In the mornings people might think I'm crazy but I do everything as if I was back at work. DS1 is awake early anyway so no lie in. I get up and shower before the boys and DH are up (6am) or DH gets woken to sit with DS2 until I'm dressed and ready then I get DS1 up whilst DS2 goes in his rocker chair. DS1 then plays downstairs whilst I get DS2 dressed and fed then all out the door at 7:30 to be at nursery at 7:45. Then I come home and crash on the sofa for a bit whilst DS2 naps a bit. It's nice to feel confident that the routine will just continue once I'm back at work but I'll probably get a bit more help from DH. It's tricky to start with and it feels daunting but things get easier pretty quickly. The biggest help is getting showered and ready whilst DH is still around to look after the boys even though it's stupidly early Smile.

Meant to say, I run bath for DS2 and get him washed and out while DS1 plays or he likes to help wash DS2 Smile. Then DS1 gets himself undressed, adds bubbles to bath and uses his step to jump in while I get DS2 dried and sorted. DS2 goes in his rocker chair while I make sure DS1 gets washed then get him out and he gets dried and puts his pjs on whilst I supervise.

I have to do bed time on my own as DH works some evenings. When that happens I run a bath for baby while my 3 yr old gets into pjs.
Then once I've finished bathing baby I wrap him in his towel and brush 3 yr olds teeth.
Then I sort baby out and once in sleeping bag we all sit on 3 yr olds bed and have stories.
Then once I've said goodnight to 3 yr old I take baby through for feed and put to bed.
Fortunately I have a very capable and cooperative 3 yr old, not sure what I'd do if she wasn't!
