DD has been off her food for 3 days. She's eating now and then but a fraction of what she usually eats. She's also drinking much less water and milk too. She had a temperature 2 nights ago and has been sick 3 times in 3 days.

She's fine in herself and still seems happy but I'm so worried about her poor appetite. Any suggestions?

Didn't want to read and run...poor thing, ots horrid when theyre ill isn't it?
Mine have both been poorly and off their food too, some days it felt like they didn't eat at all. Offering forbidden fruits usually helps them, chocolate, fizzy water with juice in, pancakes etc
If shes eating and drinking something and still happy in herself I'd say she'll probably be fine, if she starts displaying any signs of getting worse- floppiness, sleeping for much longer than her nap, dry cracked lips, vomiting. .. see a doctor.
Someone will give you some proper advice in a bit im sure, hope she gets well soon

Ah bless her and you too, it's horrible when their ill! Agree with trying the forbidden fruit approach...favourites here when DS (now nearly 2 ) is under the weather are chocolate buttons and chocolate mousse, ice lollies, jelly, chicken nuggets to dip in ketchup, wotsits/quavers and fruit purée with ice cream. Also unlimited milk and water. He particularly likes having ice in his beaker too, not sure if its the coolness of the drink or the clunky noise it makes! We usually eat healthily honest!!Smile

I'd get her throat checked out in case it is very sore?

Thank you. Have given lots of favourite foods today. And we were doing fine until she was really sick and brought the lot up. But after that we gently and slowly managed a bit or a snack and some milk. Will def go to gp if she's not better on Monday. Thanks again.
