It's our first Christmas this year as parents after DS was born in March. My husband has had a really tough year (he lost his mom unexpectedly) and I would love to give him something special and meaningful for Christmas from our DS.

Can I ask what gifts you have given to your partners over the years to celebrate them being a special daddy?? I'm in need of inspiration

Does he wear shirts? You can get cuff links with dc finger prints which is a lovely keepsake. Have a look at notonthehighstreet.com, it's a great site and good for ideas as sometimes you can find alternatives cheaper elsewhere. I got a lovely 'my daddy loves' box print. Hope you find something you're happy with.

Another idea is a 'me to you' journal so DH can create a lovely record for dc when older!

There's a woman on Etsy who creates visualisations of sound recordings. I recorded DD babbling away and got back a voice print. You can choose the colours, frame etc

Fingerprint cuff links is a good idea, for dp's first Xmas I found someone on eBay who puts pics on them and used a baby pic of dd and 'daddy' -he still wears them now
