DD is getting on great with the potty and toilet and hardly ever has an accident. But what is the best way of dealing with it when it happnes on the sofa. Up until now I have been using washing powder and dettol and then febreeze if there is any smell later on. But will this be enough to combat germs/bacteria that could grow inside the sofa cushions????

what do you do???

my friend swears by steam cleaning or chemical cleaning on an anual basis.

Have you tried 'zoflora' it's a really concentrated disinfectant, it's brilliant at getting rid of stains and smells. I suppose you'd have to check for colour fastness though.
