Struggling to give dd1 enough one to one time.

We have two dd's 3.5 and 1.5. Youngest has stsrted to drop her nap or naps on the nursery run which is good as before hand we could be confided to the house/garden whilst she napped. We now however are stuggling giving enough one on one time with eldest dd, we try do tasks together simple crafts etc but obviously dd2 doesn't really sit long enough for and still not one to one with dd1. We have tried separating but if we suggest dd2 goes upstairs or outside etc dd1 also wants to come too. Dd1 is also at pre school five mornings a week which she loves but I think she is realising that dd2 is with me all the time.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what we can do? I have thought about allowing dd1 to stay up a little later one night a week but often she is the one to be tired and fall asleep before dd2.

Do you have a DH? That would be the obvious solution.
