Just that really!
I have a pram and it is really big and bulky, hoping to move to a stroller soon. Some say suitable from birth?

Ds was in a Maclaren XT from birth. Dd was in a sling for 6 weeks then used it too. Lies flat and a cosy footmuff/insert.

My DD moved into a basic Hauck stroller with a lambswool fleece at 7 months. I was still carrying her in a sling for a lot of the day, but couldn't be doing with using the big travel system wheels for small jaunts.

Never did, had a bugaboo cameleon and found it easier to push than friends umbrella styles. Even took it on planes regularly ( fly every 3/4 weeks)

I think I bought one at around 11 months when we went on holiday but he was sitting up in the pushchair regularly from around 6/8 months or so. As long as it reclines it's OK (I'd get something snuggly to keep them warm over the winter, though)

I have a stroller and use it occasionally for dd (10 months) but I hate it and will use my Cameleon at every opportunity until she outgrows it (probably when she's about 4 at this rate). People slate Bugaboos but they're really nice to use even with big children in!

Around 6 months dd went into a umbrella fold stroller but I found it awful to push so only use it now, she's 20 months, if I'm going on a train or bus. I got a second hand mamas and papas sola which I love and although it's bigger than a stroller it's lovely to push. I think that lots of strollers are meant to be really good so just do your research before choosing one, I brought mine because it's pretty buy honestly it very rarely gets used

I used a mamas and papas pulse from 10 weeks I don't drive so sometimes couldn't get on the bus with my pram if anyone else was on and to put it in my mums car had to take it to pieces. It was much easier and I loved it so did ds used it for 18mo until someone broke it then I was given a mclarren stroller not so good for pushing and needs 2 hands to lie flat (pulse can be done 1 handed while still pushing) but still a good buy. Next baby I am getting a loan of a pram for the first couple of months depending on weather then going for the pulse again.
