Dd aged 5 just had birthday with school friends. Got some lovely presents at party. Should I send in thank us for her to hand out? No idea if the etiquette!

I am in the 'yes' camp. But you will get a lot of 'no, if she said thank you as they were handed over there's no need'. Grin

Also in the yes camp but I got DD to write them herself gradually as it was a useful way of reminding her what she had received and from who. I just printed 'thank you' on a Sheet a4 and helped her to write a note and then draw a picture. Tedious to be honest, I could have done it on 15 mins but her friends (parents) were v generous and I think it's important she doesn't take that generosity for granted.

We have received personalised TQ's on specially printed stationary. THATs OTT - it's not a wedding!

I think when they were 5 I just put a photo on an A4 sheet and typed Thank you for coming to my party and for the gift' and got DS to 'sign' it.
