What is the best cloth nappy?

I last used cloth nappies about 3 years ago. I had aplix tots bots and motherease one size which I used with fleece liners and motherease wraps (rikki or airflow, can't recall) I still have the tots and some bigger sizes of wraps, but wondered if I should venture into the ever expanding cloth nappy market and start looking at something else?
Could a current clothie user update an old timer who is a bit out of touch?

And, yes I do know that I could get drawn into a nappy web and end up with piles of nappies to try.

Ooooh - you have to get one of every type out there

Bamboo will be the biggest advance - wambamboos are great (tots do them too, but WBB are my preferred).

I've got a big thing for fleece and wool lately - wacky wraps are good if you want cute n soft, but still waterproof.

BAMBOO? BAMBOO?
is it more ecofriendly than the most ecofriendliest thing?

How have you missed bamboo???

Uber absorbant, soooo soft, and really slim.

Does take a lifetime to dry though.

wambamboo, so slim with a mother ease wrap, i also like hemp if i am out as i find them absorbant without a lot of bulk so dont have to worry about changing ds if we are out in the pram.
