I hope I'm posting in the right place... Please can anyone recommend one of the above? It's uncharted waters for me as I'm not remotely interested in cars but DS1 would love one for impending birthday. Thanks!

We have this one from The Entertainer:

Cheap, but nimble, easy to manoeuvre, and a good size. Has lasted 6 months so far and still going strong.

3 sons here. We never had a remote control car that lasted longer than a week!

I don't know the make of ours but get re chargable batteries or you will be out a fortune.

My friend warned me against buying one as they eat batteries.. her son has one where the remote stores inside the car which I thought was ingenious.

Thanks all, and sorry for responding so late. The GPs have bought one from Smyths. I'm armed with rechargeable batteries...
