I use it occasionally when DS (5 months) is suffering. I put a blob on his teething ring and give him it to chew - easier than trying to apply it with my finger.

Both my DC were bothered by their teeth on & off from around 3.5 months, but teeth didn't actually cut until much later.

Dentinox is shite, as are all teething gels, don't waste your money. They just slide straight off the gum. The only thing that works is Anbesol liquid, which is phenomenal. Same active ingredient - lidocaine - but it penetrates the gum. Strong taste so dot be surprised if your baby hates it - but I've tried it on myself and the taste goes in a few seconds.

Make sure it's the liquid, not anything else. Comes in a tiny bottle but will last forever (if you make sure you put the lid on properly!)

dentinox was brill for my dd until her first teeth came through and she took the opportunity to chomp on my fingers. nelsons teething powders have been fantastic however! have also heard very good things about the liquid the poster above mentions but have never used it myself.
