Wondering what the majority put there babies of this age group on over the past winter months

OP posts:

Depended on what we were doing - a walk out, id use a thick pramsuit (plus layers underneath). If we went anywhere in the car then just their usual clothes and a blanket over the top.

DD is nearly 1. I'm not intending to buy her a thick all in one this winter. Layers (inc coat) and blanket or cosy toes will be fine.

I always found all in ones to be an almighty fight to get them in and out of. So I go for a coat and cosy toe, as loose blankets inevitably end up on the floor. Also easier to get a coat off if it suddenly turns tropical (this week has gone from cold to hot in a blink, and I always get it wrong!)

Tights under trousers was always a failsafe here too in the colder months. Indoors then, id put a long sleeved vest over a pair of tights, then if we were popping out would add dungarees and cardi etc.

In the pushchair I've got a lovely fleecy inner waterproof outer cosy toes from jojo. Pricey but brilliant so far. And a coat on top if awake. I had bought a fleecy all in one but unless they're walking i think a cosy toes is more useful.

Depends if they're on the move or not. DD had a coat at that age and an all in one waterproof at nursery.

A pram suit would have been tricky to walk in.
