2 year old ds has a habit of getting lots of toys out, and
laying with none of them, meaning he loses interest easily, and I end up with a very messy living room by the end of the day!
Starting this morning, anytime ds wanted something out, I have asked him to tidy up the other play thing that is out first. I was helping him, but just now he asked for his tunnel to be put up. I said of course, but he'd need to tidy his puzzle first, and he did it all himselfGrin Here's hoping I can get him to continue without any tantrums!

Well done! It's the little things that can make you feel like you've achieved a lot, isn't it? I'd say it is a good one to stick to even if any tantrums start.

Thanks Thurlow My living room is still a bit messy, but no where near as bad as it would have been if there were 3 puzzles, a tunnel a train set and a board game all out Grin
