Hi everyone, I have a beautiful ( at times) daughter 3yrs 10 months, who has been dry day and night for nearly a year but recently we went on holiday and she has started to wet the bed again and not going to the toilet instead wetting on the floor. We have had no upset in the family that she is aware of ( I miscarried about 3 weeks ago but she was never told about the pregnancy)
Just wondering if there is any reason why she is doing this. Any ideas?

I had a ectopic over a year ago and my daughter didnt know about it but definitley affected her. As i was stressed and upset. Only looking back now can I see this. It took ages to potty train her. My advise get counciling now to talk it through I didnt realise how much it affected every aspect of my life its only 18 months later i have realised this. Even if you are putting on brave face they can sense everything. Good luck.

kids can pick up on things without us realising. she probably senses your upset and it's worrying her, try to make a special fuss of her and reassure her

could be a bladder infection.

Otherwise - it can just be a phase - one of my ds's tends to go through phases of being lazy.

Maybe a bit of bribery - eg all day with no accidents gets a reward - might help get her back on track.
