Don't let your kids take on a paid fundraising job at HOME

My son recently quit his job as a door to door fundraising for this company called HOME Fundraising. They were harsh to him and kept his deposit for his equipment.

It's a con and a disastrous job, the main points of the review are:
#-he actual amount of hours that you eventually work is veiled.
#-- you do 5 hr shifts but you end up working an 8 hour day and you incur hefty travel costs.
#--- they can terminate your contract without any notice.

He had a really bad experience and this was his review on the job:

Did you and your DS really think a job that involved being paid to cold call people on their own doorsteps and persuade them to give money to charity but actually be used to pay him was ever going to be ethical?
