almost done with BF, can I start back on microgynon?

This pill has suited me for years. Came off it and conceived quickly. Periods just come back after 10 months of breastfeeding. Down to 1 feed in 24hours. Looking to stop altogether (but it's the very early morning feed that buys us a couple more hours of sleep, so not in a hurry).

I've read that microgynon can reduce supply. Any experience of taking this when only feeding a very small amount? Havent read anything about pill affecting the baby, is that right?

I have a huge stash, and desperately don't want a second pregnancy just yet, but with return of period, and baby sleeping better (since starting bottles and nursery), so my Sex drive has returned!

I thought progesterone only pill was necessary while bf. I'm on cerazette. Check with your gp?

I too was on Cerazette first time but have the implant in now, definitely check with gp first

I had microgynon at this stage. It isn't completely counter-indicated in bfing, though some GPs will claim it is. I think I found out through LLL or similar and pushed for it as I hated cerazette.
