.....as nobody in my family seems to bothered, nobody has even mentioned it.

Its the biggest thing that I have ever done in my life, I really dont think that my family understand the importance of it all.

Never mind- im not going to let it ruin my day.

Just think of me tomorrow please, hanging around in queue after queue, filling in forms blah blah blah.

Its finally here!

Have a FANTASTIC first day emma

I know what you mean about the big thing and no-one has bothered to mention it. DH has been great about me starting college (he knows how big a step it is), but my Mum is utterly bloody useless . She didn't even 'phone to find out how DD's first day at school went, she knew the date etc and it's not like she has loads of other grandkids to think about, DD is her only bio grandchild. I had to 'phone her before DD went to bed (7pm) and tell her how it went. I asked her why she hadn't phoned so that DD could talk to her about it (thinking she'd be interested, silly me) and she said she was going to 'phone later on. She knows that DD goes to bed at 7pm . Honestly,I wonder wtf goes on in her bloody head most of the time.... Sorry about the rant.

tiredemma · 25/09/2006 20:51

thanks everyone, it really means a lot to have some good luck wishes.

neither my mom or dad has phoned to wish me good luck, but tbh im far to busy getting all of my stuff together to let it really bother me.

I feel really weird, cant explain it. im so excited.

looked at my timetable earlier and it looks so interesting. Have a 5 week public health placement in november which I cant wait for!!

Its sounds great emma, really glad you are enjoying it.

Don't take any notice of your mum and dad not being interested. My dad is very like that but I know he is interested really, he just forgets.
