help! to cut a verry long story short, i live in Spain and due to complications, my baby has not had her heel prick test at the 5 days old stage when she was supposed to....it involves probs to do with registering with a doc....like i say, long story...anyway she is a month old and we will be taking her to a private doc tomorrow but i have a feeling it is too late now to be done....im in a panic now and was wondering if anyone here knew if it is indeed too late...

I don't think it is too late. I think the things they are looking for are permanent changes, not just something that is present at birth.

I may be wrong though.
