Hiya
Ive just started my Access to Nursing in ColegGwent (in Ebbw Vale). I am completing it through evening school, so its going to take me two years. People are already are asking me which uni Im thinking of, Cardiff or Glam?
Just wondering which one you are in, and whether you looked at both.

Sorry to hijack your thread but I wanted to tell you that I trained at UHW aswell jofeb04 and that was through personal choice. I preferred UHW because it meant I might get some placements closer to home and that most of my placements would be between Royal Gwent (because I live on the Newport side of Cardiff) and UHW thus meaning less travel for me! Cardiff generally has a better name than UniGlam and like Sallystrawberry I had my heart set on Cardiff. I loved my time there but it feels like so long ago (7 years now at where the time has gone!). Thanks for the advice.
TBH, my heart is set on Cardiff, purely because of the name it is, and that it is easier for me to get to than Glam.

Oh well, still got two years anyway!
