2wk old sleeping with neck at "unusual" angles

He seems to be quite happy and content, but I can't help thinking that if I fell asleep for a couple of hours with my neck at that angle I'd be on agony when I woke up!

Should I be trying to keep his neck nice and straight? Or will it not hurt him to sleep like this?

My 9 week old does this. I try to straighten her up but she just goes straight back to same position.

Unfortunately babies do seen to get into all sorts of strange positions!! I would not worry too much. My DS is 7 months & is currently sleeping at some strange right angle with his feet out the cot bars! The main thing is to always put your baby on his back to sleep. If he wakes you could straighten him out, but I always think if it was not comfortable they wouldn't stay like it Smile

Is it always the same position?

Thanks for the reassurance! No its always different positions, mostly when we are holding him and he falls asleep. If we put him down on his back he does stay in a more conventional comfortable looking position.
