Hi, my 1 yr old has suddenly become hysterical when we try to clean her teeth. Previously no problems and we have been doing it for months. Any advice??

Could she be teething? I know my dd doesn't let us brush her teeth for a few days when teething.
Would it work if she had a turn with the toothbrush?
Otherwise, I've heard of (but never seen) toothbrushes for toddlers that they chew instead of having their teeth brushed; apparently they're supposed to be good.

My dd is just 1 and hates the toothbrush when her gums hurt, she loves it normally.

I second the bit about letting her try doing it herself but also let her have a go brushing yours

We use the Aquafresh Brush Time app with 18mo DD - really annoying music but seems to send her into a bit of a trance, during which she opens her mouth and lets me clean her teeth (it took a little while to train her, but she knows that when the music starts, her teeth will be cleaned!). I also let her have a bit of a go herself.
