Meeting other mums in west Mids

I've got a 7 week old little boy and would really like to meet other mums in my area. None of my friends have children. My little one has been ill so we haven't been to many groups yet and I feel he is too young. I've got an appointment to register at my local childrens centre. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Hi. Congratulations on the birth of your baby. I have a 4 month old and live in the west mids. Where abouts are you? I've only just started going to groups as felt my little boy was too young before now. Many of my friends have older children so I'm in the same boat as you. The childrens centre is a good start. My local centre run lots of classes for younger babies. I'm using it as a chance to get out the house and meet other mums. If you are local to me maybe we could try a group together?

Hiya. I'm near Dudley - that would be great if you are close? We are just starting to get settled into a routine but I'd really like to start getting out and about x

Oh I'm near solihull so a bit far! Your children's centre would be a good place to start though. Now the summer holidays are over the new groups will be up and running again.

Look on netmums. They list loads of local groups. Check ur local library, church halls. Maybe join a baby sensory? Someone told me there are some around brierley hill.
