How to have a shower without baby hurting herself?

Can I ask what you all do to have a shower? I'm just going back to work and dd1 is just 4, dd2 is 8 months. She has just become very mobile. Crawling, pulling up on everything and falling over all the time. I need to leave by 8; the kids are generally up by 6.30 and my DH leaves even earlier so he can't watch them whilst I shower.
With dd1 it was easier as she wasn't so mobile so early and we had an ensuite, so could just pile a load of toys on the floor and watch her in the 5 mins it takes to shower. Now we are in a different house, bathroom down the hall. Dd1 is helpful and will shout if a problem but obviously cannot rely on a 4 year old... Any ideas gratefully received - sure I am missing something obvious. Oh and I prefer to shower in the morning or else I don't feel awake and the shower would wake dd1 at night...

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Highchair?
When mine got mobile I used to leave them strapped in after meals to buy me some time when clearing away or whatever I needed to do. Toys on the tray or a bit of Cbeebies.
Obviously this won't work if your child hates being strapped into highchair/carseat/pushchair.

I used to pop DS in his cot with a little basket of toys and a little musical thing on.

Thanks all, DH leaves at 5, not showering then! Dd2 wakes at 5.30 so I bring her in with me for a breastfeed lying down and we both doze until all hell breaks loose at 6.30 when dd1 gets up. I've decided a travel cot in our room is the way forward - will buy enough time to shower and she can't hurt herself. Thanks for all the suggestions!
