Just caught DD with one of those Hippo chocolate things in her pocket on coming out of the shop.
I thought she was acting suspiciously lurking round the corner so checked and lo and behold out it came!
I have given her a very, very stern telling off. Told her she wont have any treats at all this week and she is going to bed before her brother (ultimate punishment for her)
What else can I do though.
Feel wretched that if she is doing this at SIX what the hell will she be like as a teen>
What makes kids steal? Am I doing something fundamentally wrong?
