Ds1 (5) had a late night then woke up at the crack of dawn - he's really knackered and whiny but absolutely refuses to have a nap. Ds2 (3) woke up in a foul mood after waking too quickly from his afternoon nap- he keeps clutching at his mouth as of in pain and howling and wants to held constantly. I'm wondering if Ds2 has toothache (he's not teething as they have all come through). I'm currently sat watching Cars 2 with Ds2 but have so much to do its not funny but he howls every time I slip away. Ds1 is sulking in the playroom and refuses to join us. DH is upstairs working - Arrrrgh!! Any tips so I can at least clean the kitchen post lunch and maybe do some ironing? We are traveling next week ( Iceland volcano willing) and I haven't packed or got the house ship shape for my parents who are staying while we are away.
