My usually happy, robust and confident little boy is going through a bit of a weird phase of worrying about 'what if?' questions, imagining the worst that could possibly happen and getting to the point when he is near tears.

We watched Happy Feet this afternoon (skipping the scary bits) and he ended up crying first that the penguins would have no fish to eat, and then when they did, that he would never get to eat fish again! No matter how much I reassure him he seems to almost want to get himself worked up into a state.

It is so unlike him! Is this a 'just about to start school' thing do you think? Has anyone else got a DC who has gone through this phase? Advice please!!!
