He had a massive tantrum, we both ended up in tears. Dh away and just find out I'm pregnant. Ended up resorting to lunch on the floor in front of cbeebies. He has hit me today and is really horrid and hard at the mo. He's 22mths. I know it passes but when!

I remember my dd whacking me when I was pregnant and I burst into tears. I thought that she would get the shock of her life but she didn't seem to.

I think it helps to know that everything is a phase. The tantrum phase, the biting phase, the only eating watermelon phase.

My dd (10) is now in the wearing leggings as trousers phase, I hope it passes soon.

This sounds strange but our DD started acting out at around 2, hitting other children and me. I was pregnant and didn't link the two but the nursery staff said they see it all the time and the child just seems to know that something is different.
They suggested I talk to her about the pregnancy.

It did pass (until her sister came along). In answer to your question though it feels a lot netter as DD is approaching three.

Oohh milkyman :( hope you feel better soon.

I remember sobbing when DC1 had tantrums. I didn't know what to do and felt so helpless/clueless.

However now I'm on my third, who is 20 months, I actually find her tantrums quite cute Blush They just don't bother me anymore. She had a huge one earlier because I took her towel off ready to put her pyjamas on Confused I let her finish then she asked for a cuddle.

If you're in the early stages of pregnancy I guess you're more emotional too x
