Next shoe sizes

Hi, my dd has always had Clarks shoes up til now but I've just been looking at the next directory and I love nearly all the shoes in there are the prices are quite reasonable. Do you find next shoes match Clarks sizes well and do your children find them comfortable? My dd is age 2 yrs 3 mths and is a size 5.5 f or g

I find my dd fits smaller next shoes than clarks. No idea what the conversion is but have found this with other shoes for her too. Clarks sizes always seem to be bigger?

I think their sizes may be narrower than other places based on the fact that Next was the only place (other than Clarks or other expensive shoe shops) that we could find shoes to fit ds's narrow feet.

I agree clarks shoes always seem to be larger. If I'm ordering from Next for my eldest dd I would order a 13 and a 1 (she's 13.5 in clarks) Then I just return whichever doesn't fit. That said my dd3 wears an 8.5g and next shoes are generally too narrow for her.

I've generally found them good quality although the Ugg style winter boots can be hit or miss. We've had 5 or 6 pairs over the years and some have lastest the winter and others have looked wrecked in a fortnight

Same here with Clark's shoes. DD1 is aged seven with size 12 G feet, a little small for her age. In next I always find she is more like an 11 G.

My 2 year old son is a 7G in Clarks. Next shoes are way too narrow for him. He has a high instep too.

Our sons both have a H fitting in clarks shoes. We've never had any success getting Next shoes to fit them. Be careful if your dd has wide feet.
