Hi just looking for some advice on which you think is best ie. most likely to be played with for longer/most fun/better for physical development...a Trampoline or a climbing frame (swing slide monkey bars rope ladder house)? we dont have space for both. we have 2 kids (age 4 and 2) thanks for any advice x

We have both and while the climbing frame (Tipi, with slide) got lots of use initially, this tailed of by about ages 8&6. I think it was probably height related. The trampoline however, still gets daily use. Get the biggest, most robust one you can afford, with an easily replaceable net (for when it is too trashed to mend).

thank you. i love the idea of a climbing frame but worried it might become boring for them

Trampoline

trampoline def. mine are 10 and 8 and still on it every day. on their own they jump and bounce but with each other/friends they kind of toddle about on it, chatting, it becomes their space. We just upgraded from an 8ft to a 12ft despite it now taking up half the garden.

Trampoline - it's appeal is long lived!!

ah thanks all...seems like trampoline winning so far...my dreams of cute climbing frame being shattered!

We have both but the trampoline gets far more use than the climbing frame.

We have a 10ft trampoline with net - bought for our fun before our DD was born - she is now almost 23 months and loves the thing! Every day use.

We also have a tiny baby trampoline which was excellent when she was cruising / pulling herself up.

We have the 10ft jumpking one from adsa. £100.
You can buy the trampoline tents for them too so they double up as a playhouse.
The net is great because it's got the hoop round the top.
If it wasn't for our neighbours cats clawing away at the posts and trampoline surround, ours would still be perfect and we've had it 5 years.

Climbing frame gets outgrown very quickly - a trampoline lasts forever (as does a straightforward swing). I wouldn't bother with the climbing frame part.

Trampoline, best £ 100 quid you'll ever spend. Pricewise they're the same anywhere on the high street.

Jump King.
