Teething Agony Hell / Meds

Jack teething really badly! 2 at the same time, his bum is red raw with blisters, I'm using sudocreme, also given him calpol & ibuprofen (& teething granules!?!) But ... He won't eat & has only taken 5oz of milk so far today, what else can I do or is it just a ride it out & keep the meds going? .... xx

God I remember going through this DD now 5, the only thing that I will SWEAR BY is Ashton and Parsons Baby Powders, Boots used to do but can get on Amazon, this is the only thing that worked for us, clamed DD down within 5/10 mins of using, had a camping trip in New Forest once when she was teething and the local chemist sold it, needless to say I brought of the their 5 boxes !!! Hope this helps x

Anbesol (sp ?) gel rubbed on the gums also seems to really work. The baby teething one (not the version for adults) is sold behind the counter at Boots - it seems to stop the hysterical screaming after 10 mins of being rubbed on.

When my DDs top middle teeth came through at once she wouldn't have her bottle but would eat plain yoghurt off a spoon. Was clearly hungry and the cold yoghurt might have helped with pain too.

Metanium for his bottom a million times better than sudocreme. You can get it in tesco/sainsburys. It has really helped when any of mine have a teething bum.

Not a bum with teeth obviously a sore bum from teething!
