Can anyone recommend a really sturdy supportive set of shoes or ankle boots for dd2. She throws her feet in slightly and you can see the foot slide to the side of the shoe so she really needs something to support her better and help her walk properly instead of stomp

Sorry I can't offer any advice buy could you pop to any of your local shoe shops to see what they recommend?

We only have a Clarks and they are crap :o

Try some outdoor shops eg mountain warehouse or blacks - walking boots are very supportive. I have just got a pair of 7s for my lo who is in 6.5h in Clarke's and they are fab!

Do they come up big in the smaller sizes or are they true to size? I'm going to get her measured tomorrow

I think they are about right - dd2 was measured as an 11 in clarks and the 11 boots fit her OK with normal socks for every day wear. She has size 12 boots for walking as she wears thicker socks..
I often buy online - returns are quite easy if needed.

There was nothing in her size on the blacks web page but I found these as a potential possibility.
