Aww, ds hasn't quite got the idea of his quilt...

DS is coming up for 2. Every morning when we take him out of his cot and gro bag, he runs into our room, climbs into our bed, and snuggles up with our quilt wrapped around him.
So we decided to try a quilt with him tonight, instead of his sleeping bag. He was very excited to see it (DH had put it on his mattress, with his cuddly toys tucked up!) and snuggled down to go to sleep. I've just gone to check on him, and he has shoved the whole thing to the bottom of his cot, and is currently using it as a giant pillow Grin Oh well, as long as he's comfortable...

Turn it the other way round OP, so it's horizontal. Then tuck in on both sides to make an envelope he can sleep in. Stops them kicking it off and also stops them falling out as a bonus!

We used a single duvet to do the in DS cotbed when he was 2 and we still do it now in his single bed, age 4. He's v v wriggly!

Thanks sunshine. He's still in his cot, so no falling out, but will remember that tipSmile

My DD did that for quite a while. We may even have some photos of mad positions she's gone to sleep in. Grin

She's better now at 3.5
