Morning,

I swear yesterday I saw his first tooth cut through. Today I can't find it. Did I imagine it?

I showed my husband yesterday & he agreed but now it's like I dreamt it.

Oddly though I thought some of it cut through towards the back of the gum & I wonder if it was a ulcer & I got a bit carried away.

Doh

This happened to me! I thought I had imagined it in the end.
I think teeth move around under the gums and sometimes they disappear from view.

Glad I am not going mad then! I swear if I hadn't shown my husband I literally would have thought I dreamt it.

Out of interest did you have to wait much longer until you were sure it had cut through?

Thanks for replying I thought I was going mad xx

Months. Four months. He was nearly nine months before any teeth cut through.
This was his first tooth, and interestingly the one I saw wasn't his first.

Thanks. My son is 9 months so we are due some teeth! Funnily enough he is in a foul mood today so maybe it is cutting (or just having a REALLY bad day :( )

my ds' s bottom two teeth cut through a lot further back than I expected and now his top ones are coming in further forward than I thought. I think it's hard to know where they will come from. I also thought I saw some tooth poking through at the top then it disappeared, I think it was as the tooth was moving down as it the appeared a week later!
