Hi. This thread probably doesnt belong here so apologies but new to mumsnet!! Has anyone bought a "Bubble" interactive dvd system for their child/children and if so, is it any good? Have heard very conflicting reports i.e: some say its great, others say a waste of £60 - and I cant afford to waste £60! Have bought other toys over the last couple of years and been very disappointed - my little leappad for example. thanks for the help....

Grandparents bought one for our dd when she turned two. Unfortuntately we are having to send it back to the manufacturers as it doesn't work. So, the jury is out at the moment, although from what I've seen, I'm not sure that it's all it's cracked up to be. The jury is out until we get our replacement and can give a fair and full review.
I'd be interested to hear other peoples opinions though.

Ds is 4 and has a bubble. He really likes it. Have found it a bit sensitive! sometimes it crashes and we restart - but all in all a good buy.
I end up sort of sitting with him - because it can get frustrating for ds!
Must admit that ds has cd roms for the computer that are just as good and cheaper.

heres their website

Thanks for the input...Tom is only 3 so I might leave it till next year...sitting down for longer than 5 mins not his strong point!!

becaroo - not bought one yet, but thought you might like to know that they are down to £15 on amazon, and £20 at the works.
