OU fees?

I've just looked at the fees and was shocked; when I started a few years ago it was around £700 a course but now it's £2,500. Does anyone know if these (astronomical) fees apply when you've started a course already but are on a break? I'm a SAHM and I don't think it's affordable now which is gutting Sad

Yes :( they did have a thing called transitional fees for existing students but you need to have been continually studying each academic year to qualify for it. Worth just double checking you don't but I know it is crap, I'm sorry.
