i read on here in order to prevent them marking their tummys you have to make sure the hook bit isn't by their tummy. what is the "hook bit"?

The bit that is slightly rougher - normally the tabs rather than the strip across the front.

oh i know the bit you mean .. don't really know how you would get it near their tummy though - doesn't it just stick to the velcro?
