Grateful for recommendations? Is there anything that stays in permanently and doesn't need moving? Are the grippy dots any good?

Gripy dots are fine, a normal bath mat does the job. There's loads of nice ones out there, we currently have fish on ours.

We got a £5 mat out of Asda that does the trick. It needs lifted and bleached every few days because the dirt tends to collect around the suckers (or maybe I just have a filthy house Wink) but apart from that it's really sticky when it's down.

Personally I hated the dots, not enough cover, kids kept slipping.

We use the JoJo full length mat which is great if you have 2 kids at either end of the bath and will also go in the washing machine. Any bath mat will get yucky if you leave it down though I'm afraid, even the anti mould ones.

Just No, horrid mouldy things. Also they were just one more thing for DD1 to mess with.

Have the JoJo mat too and it's great. Have put it in the washing machine every now and then to prevent any scum/mould issues. Recommend.

Ikea's crocodile is very good - sturdy grips and washes well in washing machine.

Definitely wash it assiduously!
