Their 12 year old cousin has introduced my 4 year old boy/girl twins to iPad games but all the ones we seem to download - even the bought ones keep asking them to spend more to keep playing….and the tantrums that ensure when I refuse to give them my password is scary - what games can I buy that will keep them occupied (we have a five hour train trip to Cornwall on FRiday) - this iPad thing has cause more tantrums that anything else ever introduced to our house - I tried throwing it in the bin…even though its my iPad ,,,,but they screamed till I got it out again…

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Only ever download apps that do not offer in-app purchases.

There are tons of threads on the topic, but my personal faves are the Toca Boca ones.

I too have 4 year old twins who love Toca Boca, The Ceebeebies App, The Disney Story Books (e.g Frozen), Colouring Games and Car Games. As Primafacie mentioned, just look for ones without in-app-purchases underneath the title when you click on the game in the App Store.
