So fed up with toddlers clinginess

I know this is pretty much what all toddlers do and I should just get over it but I just find her constant using me as a climbing frame so irritating! Housework takes forever to do as she is constantly round my feet even though I give her little tasks to "help" me such as sweeping the floor or helping with the laundry etc.

I can't even go to the loo on my own!

Of course I love her to pieces but I just get so frustrated by it! Tell me I'm not the only one Sad

Your not they only one! My daughter now aged nine was nicknamed Velcro baby! It's exhausting! The only thing I can say is they do grow out of it, not much help know, but I do remember how frustrating it is

I can remember flopping on the sofa when mine were asleep. Dh would sit next to me and put his arm round me, I would push him off as I just wanted to sit on my own without anyone on me. We nicknamed it 'being touched out' .
