Hiya,
Im slowly working my way through study from home courses. I'm also in college, and completing a course in the local uni.
I am finding the home study courses the hardest to complete the work, basically because there is no tutor telling me I need to do it!

At the moment, I've been completing the essays bit by bit, an hour max a night iykwim

Nightmare isn't it.
I work FT but am (through work) doing the 1st 3rd of an MBA. I study/write after the kids go to bed & before I collapse (i.e. between 8 & 9pm); sometimes a snatched few hours at the weekend(e.g. I've got both kids so dp can go to a football match all day saturday so he'll have them both for a few hours sunday) and I take days off work when assignments are due.

Know what you mean though. I'm supposed to be half way through a 7000 word assignment I haven't even started yet!

is it 200 or 2000?

I always study after the kids have gone to bed, have tv off and knuckle down.
I hate handing in work late and try to do research on the topic straight away and then crack on with it.

It is hard to study when you have lo's running about the place. I did all my studying when dd was in bed, or when she was sleeping during the day (started an NVQ when she was born) and then as she grew, had to snatch the odd hour here and there. Makes it more worthwhile and more of an achievement if you have done it with lo's about.

Good luck!

Well done you! Took me ages to get down to doing my 4,000 worder the other day. Only way to do it is to disable MN (sacrilege!). Even then I kept signing back on just in case I missed something.

I tend to study when they are all in bed or out to school/playgroup.

I have recently discovered that it's not the toddlers that make the studying difficult... it's the teens with their homework. Couldn't get on till after 10 the other day. I'm knackered!
