My granddaughter is currently in hospital after an anonymous call to social services, we have been told that my daughter and son in law have to be supervised but no court order has been issued, is this right g ht

I have no idea, but I really hope she is ok. Are you allowed to see her?

Yes they can certainly ask that the parents abide by this in the interim whilst assessments are ongoing, if the parents don't consent to this and social services consider that the child is at risk of significant harm they are likely to apply to court for an order.

Yes this is totally normal whilst investigations are carried out, and will have come from social services.
