Hi

I wondered if anyone else's baby dropped daytime feeds at this age? I should say his weight gain has been great and he currently weighs 13.1 but I'm worried as he is nursing much less during the day and fussing more at the breast. He eats well in the evening/nights but during the day he could easily go 4hrs I think.

He seems to be doing plenty of wet nappies and hv isn't worried but it's stressing me out!!

Agree, he could be more efficient or just nosey Smile

I'd still offer it every 2 hours in the day, 3 at the most but that's more in the hope he'd take one less feed at night Smile

Thanks both! I think it may be a nosy thing actually as I changed position so he could be upright and feed at same time and he happily drained the breast with no fussing. He's clearly just getting more interested in the world around him!

Will continue to offer and encourage breast regularly. I know when he's really hungry he takes it without fuss but I don'tile him to get to that ravenous stage esp with the hot weather as I worry about dehydration! Anyway I will try to relax a bit too which will hopefully help :)
