DD has alway had runny nappies but lately she is having alot. I am giving her water as a drink during the day is this good or bad? Would this be contributing to the nappies?

ds was like this - maybe it's just (bad) luck of the draw. Don't remember exactly when it stopped, but he is almost three and has been going once a day for ages.

First thing rushing out the door at 730am is not ideal alright. But i dont mind as long as its ok. She seems quiet content and has always had atleast 2 a day its just increased.

DD was going a lot and it formed part of her diagnosis of milk allergy. DD's increased in frquency over time and then she started having blood in her nappy. The dietician says we should aim for 2-4 a day but that some babies do go more. I would have a chat with your HV or GP if you're worried. DD was having tummy pains and very bad wind too, but it doesn't sound like your DD is having any other symptoms.

MINNIE1 - Your dd sounds like mine, my dd is 8 months too & on formula. Some days are better than others like today she has only had 1 so far some days though she can go about 4-5 times & its is stogy & mustard colour. Don't forget that also teething can be a factor in there pooing, i think my dd is teething because she started to get a sore bum & red cheeks the other day but i used some Matanium cream on her bum which works wonders.

She sounds fine to me but if your worried ask your HV

Many Thanks

Not to worried as she is getting plenty of fluids and eating. She is teething a bit DP though he saw the top teeth the last day, but he was only pressing on the gums and they were a little white when he did this. He was convinced there was a tooth. bless him
